tests, achievements, and accomplishing life-time goals

Hello everyone!!! So today is day one of the busy three days. It was pretty eventful. First off my alarm did not go off this morning so i missed my much-sought-after morning run. ah well. Then I got ready and headed on up to school. I did some studying during my first class, and when I got to my second class I started working on some sudoku and a crossword puzzle in our school's newspaper. I am pretty proficient at sudoku, I usually solve all three, but the crossword puzzle is another matter. Usually I can only get about 25% of the whole thing. So fittingly i made the goal that one day I would solve the whole thing that day. Well today was that day!!! I started it and i was able to finish the whole thing. I am not going to lie, i am pretty dang proud of that accomplishment. By then time that was finished i had to do some more studying and i was in my office. I started noticing a peculiar smell in the air like methane gas. Sure enough it got stronger and stronger and eventually the alarm went off and we all had to evacuate. I may or may not have been slightly high from the gas and inhaling it for so long. Naturally i did some more studying and then hung out with jessica for a while then i went and took my test. I did ok, not as well as i had hoped, but ok nonetheless. After that I called my work and they said "come in today at four!!!" so i went home and got ready to go and then i realized i didn't have my keys. They were in jessica's purse from sunday!!! Oh no!!! I was able to plead with one of my roomies to take me up to work. There i had to read some packets and take a test on what they said. I got 100% on that (why couldn't i switch my scores???) then i called my little sister who is in town and she and her husband came a picked me up. Now i am here trying to do laundry and fight for various machines and study for my test tomorrow. I hope all is well out there in the world outside of the bubble. Adios!!!

When it rains, it pours!!!

Hello there everyone in blogville. Things here have been pretty busy with school and wedding planning and job hunting. For an update, I have recently acquired a job for the spring and summer and beyond which is one huge relief. With this market and job availability it is very nice to be able to find one so soon. Things will be very nice once school is all over, it is getting to that point that will be a test of planning and multitasking. This next week, on days Monday through Wednesday, I have three tests. Three tests in three days. None of these tests are easy either. They are all trying and taxing classes. Now usually I could handle that, not a problem. The problem arises when my training for my new job begins on Monday immediately after school. Now the true problem rears its ugly head. When to study? When to take the tests? All I know is that somehow or another this is all going to work. But I'll worry about those details tomorrow. Tonight it's time for Jessica and I to relax and enjoy some us-time with a movie. I am going to love it! And by the way, 36 days until we're married!!! Party!!!

Taking tests and getting knocked out by my fiancee

Hello everyone! I hope everything has been treating you very well! Things this week for me have been very busy. I had a couple of tests this week as well as a couple of papers. Oh boy. I love how teachers seem to coordinate their tests with other teachers so one week you will have like 3 tests and the next three weeks you'll have nothing. What can you do? One of my tests was ochem. All I know is that my mind might not understand organic chemistry but my body knows how to do it every moment of every day!!! Doesn't that amount to something?
Anyways...
Now Jessica and I are working on putting together our announcements for our wedding. Well, I am typing since my handwriting is atrocious and all I do is I stuff the envelopes. Poor Jessica is left with writing all of the addresses. Currently a herd of cattle are roaming and romping on the floor above us. Not really, it is probably just a couple of girls, but they sure sound like a herd of cattle...
Well, I do not have much to say. If only I had something funny to say... how about a funny story? Does that sound good?
Well my roommate just recently purchased a fun fighting game for my xbox 360 and it is one of the few games that Jessica loves to play. She loves it since she is a pro. The number one strategy at winning this game is to mash all of the buttons as quickly as possible. She owns me at it. She plays as a huge viking man who loves to smash my character and "throw them on the ground!!!" It is great. There is also a character who is rather creepy and moves like Michael Jackson (too soon?). We often go there and play some and Jessica beats me and I get knocked out many a time every night. Can anyone say fiancee abuse? HAHAHA. What am I supposed to do?
Well, stay real and keep it sharp. Peace out and have a grand week!
Adios!!!
